Next the composite filling will be meticulously placed, shaped and polished; when finished, you tooth will have been restored to its original shape and function. After your tooth gets used to your filling, your sensitivity to heat and cold should diminish.

At the end of your treatment, you will receive care instructions. Your new fillings will last longer if you practice good oral hygiene, eat nutritious foods and have regular dental check ups.
